Jean-Philippe Fontaine provides teachers and students with support in integrating the latest technology tools and best practices into the classroom. He works with faculty during the planning process and helps support students’ project work in the classroom. Jean-Philippe envisions teaching with technology as a means to support the development of life skills. Jean-Philippe is also our resident Thinkering Tank Technician. “The Tank” is Sequoyah’s mobile makerspace/fab lab where he teaches students to code, program micro-controllers, 3D print, build robots, create video projects, and much more. He holds an MA in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine University where he focused on developing collaborative models for teacher-centered technology professional development. He earned his BA in Community Studies from the UMass Boston’s College of Public and Community Service.
