Nikki Pressley

Nikki Pressley is currently a faculty member and formerly the artist in residence at the Darrow School in New York state. Nikki graduated from California Institute of Arts with an MFA and studied graphic design as an undergraduate at Furman University. In addition to teaching, Nikki has worked in the design and advertising fields, and has been an urban farmer in Los Angeles for 4 years where she developed a deep interest in organic gardening and amateur beekeeping. She has exhibited her work nationally, most notably in the 2010 California Biennial at the Orange County Museum of Art, group shows at the Studio Museum and New Museum in New York and solo shows in the Los Angeles and upstate New York area. Nikki has also served as the Art Director for a grassroots publication, The Liberator.
